Portfolio Management Associate Director – Structured Finance | S3 | CCB | Ludgate Hill Job in Leicester at Santander –

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Portfolio Management Structured Finance team, based in London. You’ll support the monitoring and reviewing of Structured Finance customers within Corporate and Commercial Banking and will have the opportunity to improve your knowledge and skill base within a structured finance environment, whilst maintaining client responsibility.

Managing a dynamic portfolio of Structured Finance customers
Supporting Relationship Directors in meeting clients and internal and external stakeholders
Monitoring management information, covenant compliance, sector information and assisting with maintaining the portfolio Watchlist
Progressing waiver requests, amendments and covenant resets via the preparation of credit submissions / modification papers
Analysing customer requests for additional facilities, annual reviews and waivers, including presenting requests to Credit Committees
Assisting with loan documentation, liaising with Relationship Teams and internal / external legal teams
What you’ll bring.
Experience lending to leveraged companies, including understanding of the in-depth credit/ financial analysis required for such deals
Knowledge of Structured Finance transactions and market with strong credit writing skills and an ability to present a fair and balanced view of the client risk.
It would also be nice for you to have.
An ability to develop and manage client relationships using proven project and stakeholder management skills
An understanding of how the UK leveraged loan market operates (both bilateral and multibank) together with current market practice and a working knowledge of typical loan structures
Demonstrable organisational and planning skills
Strong awareness of risk identification & mitigation techniques.

This role is currently office based and will be in Triton Square. This is a permanent position
