Exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest financial institutions in the world, offering a broad range of financial services including banking, trust and asset management, securities and venture capital. Offices in Australia, NZ, EMEA and the Americas.

They pride themselves on their ‘customer first’ principle in their services to clients with a focus on corporate and investment banking.

You’ll be working as part of the Operations team where your main purpose will be to perform non transactional administration work, to conduct initial AML sanction screening, support back office and assist with Operations projects.

Institutional Banking experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Processing of all non -transactional matters handled by the Operations Department.

SWIFT administration

Support all aspects of AML (transaction screening)

Support Back Office

AUSTRAC reporting

Regulatory reporting

Security systems monitoring

Competencies/Skills

Good understanding of Back Office operations in a similar role (treasury, remittance, loan operations or trade finance)

Tertiary degree advantageous

MS suite (good basic knowledge of Excel)

Proactive with a keen eye for identifying and fixing errors and discrepancies

Well-organised with high accuracy standards and attention to detail

The capacity to function both alone and collaboratively

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to established timetables

Strong focus on Customer service

Ability to monitor systems effectively and to process a large volume of tasks daily
